CAPUCHINO, RIP, 1980-2009

Inducted in 1999 into the PFHA "Hall of Fame" and later crowned PFHA "Horse of the MIllennium," Capuchino was a four-time consecutive PFHA Grand National Champion and is generally recognized as the prototype for the modern Paso Fino. He has been on the Top Ten Sires list many times, as have his offspring.

Capuchino  had a timed 126 beats per minute in the "Classic Fino" gait (aka "Paso Fino" gait in other countries"), with only a four-inch extension. That is FAST and PHENOMENAL!

Born in Colombia, South America, Capuchino was a top producing "Fino" paso fino stallion many times over. His progeny number in the thousands world-wide. He has produced a bastion of Champion and Champion-producing offspring.  Capuchino's last public exhibition was in 2008 at the Spectrum International Show in Tampa, Florida, USA, where he was honored as the first inductee into Spectrum's "Hall of Fame."

Capuchino lays at rest  in Summerfield, Florida. He served this breed well, and his name will live on in "Forever."
